1Who We Are

DMV Practice Test Pro is developed and maintained by Codayo Apps, an independent app studio. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our Android application ("the App").

By installing or using the App, you agree to the terms described in this policy. If you do not agree, please uninstall the App.

2Information We Collect

We collect the minimum data necessary to operate the App.

• Your selected US state for DMV test questions
• Test results, scores, and accuracy statistics
• Study streak count and last activity date
• Bookmarked questions
• App preferences (theme, notifications)

None of the above is transmitted to our servers. It lives entirely on your device using local SQLite storage and SharedPreferences. We have no server that receives or stores this data.

No third-party SDKs are currently integrated in this version of the App. No data is collected automatically by any external service.

3How We Use Information

The locally stored data is used exclusively to:

• Show you your own progress, streaks, and test history
• Remember your state selection and app preferences
• Restore your Pro unlock status after reinstalling
• Deliver the Daily Challenge feature

We do not use your data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the App.

4Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or rent your data to any third party. Period.

This App currently has no third-party SDKs, ad networks, or analytics tools integrated. Your data stays entirely on your device and is never transmitted anywhere.

5Children's Privacy

This App is intended for users aged 13 and above (or the minimum age required in your country). The App's primary audience includes teenagers preparing for learner's permit tests.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App does not require account creation, login, or any personal information to function.

If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through this App, please contact us immediately at the address below and we will take appropriate action.

6Data Security

Since all user data is stored locally on your device and never transmitted to our servers, the security of your data is protected by your device's own security features (screen lock, encryption, etc.).

We recommend keeping your device updated with the latest Android security patches. Codayo Apps is not liable for data loss resulting from device damage, theft, or unauthorized access to your device.

7Your Rights & Data Deletion

Because your data never leaves your device, you are always in full control:

• View your data: All data is visible inside the App (Progress screen, Settings)
• Delete your data: Clear app data via Android Settings → Apps → DMV Practice Test Pro → Clear Data
• Delete all data permanently: Uninstall the App — all local data is removed immediately
• Opt out of personalized ads: Visit adssettings.google.com or enable "Opt out of Ads Personalization" in Android Settings → Google → Ads

For users in the European Union (GDPR) or California (CCPA), the above deletion rights apply. Since we hold no data on our servers, there is no additional data to request or erase beyond what is on your device.

8App Permissions

This App requests only one permission:

• INTERNET — required for future updates and connectivity checks

No location, camera, microphone, contacts, storage, notifications, or any other permissions are requested or required. This is one of the lowest permission footprints of any app in this category.

9Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify users via an in-app notice.

Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.

10Disclaimer

DMV Practice Test Pro is an independent study app and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any government agency, state DMV office, or official licensing authority.
